On the 2nd July 2010 AS Fabrications(UK)Ltd won the Eaton Smith Business of the Year Award (in conjunction with the Calderdale, Kirklees and Wakefield Local Authorities)

There was strong competition from significant businesses in the region, and our MD Mick Fortune made an entertaining speech which finished with a summary of the companies philosophy, he said,

"We have based the business on a few fundamental values which should apply to every business - strict financial control, monthly management accounting, looking after our team and providing high quality customer service."

Thursday 25th March 2010 was a winning day in the history of the company. We were awarded The New Enterprise Business of the Year at the Yorkshire Enterprise and Diversity Awards ceremony at Huddersfield University. The company beat 170 entrants and received an engraved cut glass trophy.
